Since we are in the middle of winter, I thought this quote speaks well for all of us. But, there is light at the end of the tunnel because Pitchers and Catchers report NEXT WEEK!!!

Yes, and only 55 days till opening day! Think about it, that's less than two months. We can do this...hang tough men!
And this means that come the last week of March, we will designate ONE day where each of us MUST put up a blog post (not a comment) stating our predictions for the 2007 season, including the All Star Game winner, Division winners, Wild Card winners, Division Series matchups and winners, LCS matchups and winners, and World Series winners (and all of the above with the number of games it will take to win each level of the playoffs).

This punk is in, but I think we may have to recruit some new baseball punks to Da Stretch. Any nominations???
Looks like we'll need to cast a wide net and perhaps pick a day on all our blogs where we ask folks to come join us at the Stretch...see who else wants to be a fellow Stretch blogger, not just commenter.
I like it, an open casting call. Maybe have an audition? We announce the winner(s) by posting their article and introducing them to the world.
