Just think of how many runs AROD'll hit next year when he's batting in front of Bonds and playing shortstop in SF. We didn't feel the need to yak about the obvious. Its been a foregone conclusion that Barry would break the record for about five seasons. Breaking the record was actually sort of anti-climatic. And besides, Andy and I both missed the actual game because stupid Barry can't hit it while we're there.
How not to have a baseball record broken?
Ensure that either Will or I are there in attendance.
I can guarantee that if I were present at a game in which A-Rod played, he would not have hit that HR.
Same with Glavine's 300th win.
