Leave it to the Yankee fan to pick 'em to win the whole thing for the 1st time since 2000.

Sorry, not gonna happen this year either.

A's over Twins - 5 games.
Tigers over Yankees - 5 games.
A's over Tigers - 6 games.

Padres over Cards - 5 games
Dodgers over Mets - 5 games (pains me to pick this, but exactly where is the Mets pitching staff? Pedro's out, Glavine's not the same, and Trachsel? Give me a break.)

Padres over Dodgers (6 games)

A's over Padres, 6 games - Billy Beane wins his first Moneyball World Series title.

And Zito still leavs through FA.

Funny, Donny.

Too bad you got it all wrong.

While technically as the Golden State Warriors they have not won an NBA title, as the San Francisco Warriors (led by Rick Barry) they did win the title over the Washington Bullets in the mid-70s.

That said, did anyone else see Matt Leinart's performance yesterday?

Arizona finally has a QB.

Donnie - I like the dump A-rod part a lot! But I am sympathetic towards The Skipper. Did he deserve it (I'm using past tense, it's just a matter of time).

Andy - I saw Matt's TD's, and those were no wimpy tosses. They had zing, man. A tad premature to hail him the next Steve Young (a reference to a southpaw, but perhaps Kenny Stabler is more accurate), but I'd hate to be the brilliant GM of whatever team passed up on him in the draft.
